Girl's Football Team
Year 5 and 6 sent a team to the seven-a-side football tournament hosted at Blue Coat school on Thursday 27th May.
Playing brilliantly throughout - with Deanna finishing top scorer, the defence, led by Caitlin supported by Phoebe and Gemma - with Beth in goal, only conceded in one match. Our midfield dynamos: Kacey, Olly and Keira played brilliantly throughout!
The tournament had seven teams playing in a league, with each team playing 6 matches. We won 2, drew 3 and lost only 1 of our games (to eventual tournament winners; Malcolm Sargeant).
A massive well done to each of the team: who should feel really proud of their excellent performance - which saw us finish joint-third! Thanks to everyone who turned out to support us - it gave the girls a great boost to hear you all on the sidelines!
