Messenger Acronyms
As was highlighted in the meeting of 18th May, there are acronyms used by children as a shorthand manner of communicating warnings whilst messenging.
Below are some of the more common:
BF/GF...............Boyfriend/Girlfriend
BRB..................Be right back
CD9..................Code 9: Parents around!
(L)MIRL.............(Let's) meet in real life
MOS.................Mum (looking) over shoulder
P911.................Parent emergency
PAW.................Parents are watching
PIR...................Parent in room
POS..................Parent over shoulder
PRW.................Parents are watching
